She served in the Royal Thai Army, rising to the rank of General, and was a flight attendant for Thai Airways before entering royal service. She was appointed Deputy Commander of the King's personal bodyguard unit and served with distinction. On May 1, 2019, just three days before the royal coronation, King Vajiralongkorn married Suthida and conferred upon her the title of Queen. She was formally presented to the public during the coronation ceremonies on May 4–6, 2019.
