- •Constitution Day (June 5), Christmas Eve (December 24), and New Year's Eve (December 31) are not official public holidays in Denmark, despite many workplaces closing on these dates.
- •Under the Lukkeloven (closure law), larger retail stores must close on all public holidays and also on Constitution Day, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve (from 15:00).
- •Store Bededag (Great Prayer Day) was abolished as a public holiday in 2024, reducing Denmark's total from 11 to 10 public holidays.
