About Triglav National Park

Triglav is Slovenia's sole national park and covers most of the eastern Julian Alps. Named after Mount Triglav (2,864 m) — the country's highest peak and a symbol on the national flag — the park offers alpine lakes including the famous Lake Bohinj and Lake Bled (technically just outside the park boundary), the brilliantly turquoise Soča River, and a network of hiking and via ferrata routes through dramatic limestone terrain.
